AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE, CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THIE OWNERS AND IN-
HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID CITY, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93,' codified as Article 974 --0r, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, W. A. Shumaker and wife, Zo_ra Shumaker, of
Tarrant County, Texas, owners of the real property hereinafter des-
cribed, having made api:)lication as by law provided to the Mayor and.
City Council of the City of Euless, TexF -s, a tract of land consisting
of 50 acres, more or less, situated in the If. Winn and G. Burgoon
Surveys, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of County Road No. 3011
where same intersects the Northwest corner of a. tract of land
annexed to the City of Euless, Texas, pursuant to its Ordinance
No. 49, adopted April 30, 1956;
THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction along the East line of
County Road No. 3011 to a po:i.nt where same intersects tiie South
line of County Road No. 3.0160•
THENCE, East along the South line of County Road No. 3040 to
a point where same intersects the East line of County Road No.
3116;
TIIENCE, North along the East line of County Road ?PTO. 3116 to
the center line of County Road No. 3036;
THENCE, West alon the center line of County Road No. 3036 to a
point 66.5 varas East of the Northwest corner of the G. Burgoon
Survey;
TIIENCE, West along t1ae center line of County Road No. 3036, 866.5
varas to the Northwest corner of the Wm. Winn Survey for corner;
TIIENCE, South alon, the West boundary line of the Winn Survey
302 varas to a noi.nt for corner;
THIENCE, East 866.5 varas to a point for corner;

THENCE, North to the South line of County Rond Nod 3036 to
the West line of County Road No. 3116;
THENCE, South along the West line of County Road 3116 to a point
where same intersects the North line of County-Road No. 3o4o;.
THENCE, West along the North line of County Load No. 3040 to a
point where same intersects the West line of County Road No. 3011;
THENCE, in a Southwesterly directionalong the West line of County
Road No. 3011 to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the City of
Euless, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A ".

THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent
and contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said City and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
TEAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens and
property owners of said City and be boundby all of the acts and ordinance,
made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect and that which
may be hereafter adopted.
3.
TEAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended so
as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City of
Euless, Texas.
4.
TUIS, ordinance shall become effective and be in fool force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested by the City Secretary. ,
