AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE OWNERS AND IN-
HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID CITY, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of ti-te Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974-»G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, If. A. Shumaker and wife, Zora Shuniaker,
of Tarrant County, Texas, owners of the real property hereinafter
described, having made applications as by law provided to thb Mayor
and City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, a tract of land con-
sisting of 32 acres, more or less, situated in the P. Everard Survey,
Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Norti boundary line of the P.
Everard Survey where same intersects the West line of County
Road No. 3040, a City Limit Line of Euless, Texas, created by
Ordinance No. 57, adopted December 31, 1956;
THENCE, East along, the North boundary line of the Everard
Survey and the center line of County Road No. 3036, 592
varas to -b .he Northeast corner of the Everard Survey;
THENCE, South along the East boundary line of the Everard
Survey 321.2 varas to a point for corner;
THENCE, West S31 varas to the East line of County Road No. 3040;
THENCE, Northwesterly along the East line of County Road No. 3040
to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land. showing its location with respect to the City of
Euless, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A ".

THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent
and. contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brou -ht k.,"! thin the Corporate Limits of said City end is
hereby made an integral part thereof.

THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens and
property owners of said City and be bound by all of the acts and
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now infull force and effect and
that which may be hereafter adopted,

THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended so
as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City of
Euless,, Texas,

and effect from and , -after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested by the City Secretary.
