AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE OWNERS AND IN-
HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID CITY, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974 G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, L. G. Spencer, of Tarrant County, Texas, owner
of the real Property .hereinafter described, having made application as
by law provided to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, a tract of land consisting of 28 acres, more or less, situated
in the J. Matson Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a i�oint ire the West line of County Road. No . 3157,
a present City Limit Line of Euless, Texas, 1325 feet South
of the North boundary line of the J. Matson Survey;
THENCE, West along a line parallel with the North boundary line
of the J. Matson Survey 805 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE, North 2 degrees 12 minutes blest, 1325 feet to the North
boundary line of the J. Matson Survey for corner;
THENCE, East alongthe North boundary line of the J. Matson Survey
to a point where same intersects the City Limit Line of Euless,
Texas;
THENCE, South along; the City Limit Line -to a point where same
intersects the West line of County Road No. 3157;
THENCE, continuing South along tine West lisle of County Ro ^d No.
3157 to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land showing; its location with - respect to the City= of
Euless, Texas, is attached hereto marled EXI31E3IT "A ".

THAT, the property owners hereinobove described- being adjacent
and.contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said ,City and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
TI -Leff, the owners and inhabitants of .the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens and
property owners of said City and be bound by all of the acts and
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect and
that which may be hereafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless, Texas,
as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended so
as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City of
Euless, Texas.
4.
T1ITS, ordinance shall become effective and be iii full force and
effect from'and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested by the Oity Secretary.
