AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO MIE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BEC0ME
A PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE OWNERS AND
INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL
THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY,
AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW
IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED;
FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING
THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY, AS HERE-
TOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974 --G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, Hal Murray, of Tarrant County, Texas, owner
of the real property hereinafter described, having made bpplication as
by law provided to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Euless,
Texas, a tract of land consisting of 20 acres, more or less, situated
in the E. Taylor Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING in the North boundary line of the E. Taylor Survey
and the center line of County Road No. 3036,211.78 varas East
of the Northwest corner of said Survey;
THENCE, South 48LL varas to a. point for corner;
T.13ENCE, East 233,22 varas to a ?point for corner;
THENCE, North 484 varas to the North boundary line of the Taylor
Survey;
THENCE, Kest a =long the North boundary line of said Survey ?33.22
varas to the Mace of beginning.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the City of
Euless, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXXiiIBIT "A".
1.
THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent
and contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brouLi 'Jit within the Corporate Limits of said City and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area .herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens and
property owners of said City and be bound by all of the acts � nd
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect
and that which may be hereafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and a.niend.ed, be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City
of Euless, Texas.
4.
THIS, ordinance sUall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested by the City Secretary.
ADOPTED this the day of March, A. D. 1957.'.
