AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 64, ADOPTED
FEBRUARY 23, 1957, RECEIVING AND ANNEXING
TERRITORY ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA
SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE
OWNERS AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED
TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID
CITY, AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES
NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED;
FURTITER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING
THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY, AS HERETO-
FORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED :BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS,
THAT, ORDINANCE NO. 64 ADOPTED FEBRUARY 23, 1957 be amended to read
as follows:
WHEREAS, pdrsuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 3579 Chapter 931 codified as Article 974 -.G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, Wynne Snoots and wife, Elizabeth Snoots,
owners of the real property hereinafter described, having made appli-
cation as by law provided to the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Euless, Texas, a tract of land consisting of 11982 acres, more or
less, situated in the S. Tucker, R. Crowley and I. Crowley Surveys,
Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGIXWING at a point in the west right of way line of county
road .Number 3121 where same intersects the north right of way
line of County Road Number 3011, said point being an existing
City Limit Line of the City of Euless, Texas;
TEENCE, North along the West Line of County Road Number 3121
to a point where same intersects the center line of County
Road No, 3036;
THENCE, East along the Center Line of County Road No. 3036 to
the East right of way line of County Road. Nob 3121;
THENCE, South along the East Line of County Road No, 3121 to a
point 237.5 varas North of the South boundary Line of the S.
Tucker Survey;
THENCE, East 950 varas to the East Boundary Line of bhe Tucker
Survey;
THENCE, South along the East Boundary-Line 2170 varas to the
Southeast Corner of the Tucker Survey;

THENCE, continuing South along the West Boundary Line of
the I. Crowley Survey 520 varas more or less to the North -
West Corner of a 15.2 acre tract owned by the applicant
herein;
THENCE, East along the North Line ox said 15,2 acre tract
to the center of Big Bear Creek;
THENCE, in a Southerly direction along the meanderings of
Big Bear Creek to a point where same joins Little Bear Creek;
THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction along the meanderings
of Little Bear Creek to the Southwest Corner of a 20 acre
tract in the R. Crowley Survey owned by the applicant herein;
THE,".TCE, Borth along the West Line of said 20 acre tract 196 varas
to the Southeast Corner of a 42 acre tract in the R. Crowley
Survey owned by the applicant herein;
THENCE, West along the South Line of the 42 acre tract 737 varas
to the east right of way line of County Road No, 3121;
THENCE, South along the East Line of said road to the North
right of way line of County Road .No- 3011;

TfiENCE, West along the North Line of County Road No, 3011 to tie
place of beginning and containing 119,2 acres more or less out
of file S. Tucker, R. Crowley and I. Crowley Surveys,

THAT, the property owners he.reinabove described being adjacent
and contiguous to the City Limits of Euless, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said City and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.

TIHAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens, and
property otDners of said City and be bound by all of the acts and
ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect
and that which may be hereafter adopted.

THHAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Euless,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City
of Euless, Texas.

THIS, ordinance shall become effective and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval by
the Mayor and duly attested by the City Secretary,
ADOPTED this the 9th day of March, AQ D. 1957.
