AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 IDENTIFIED
AS THE TEMPORARY COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR CHANGE
IN DESIGNATION IN CERTAIN AREA AND AMENDING ZONING
MAP TO CONFORM WITH SUCH AMENDMENT, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of Euless, Texas,
following consideration of the application of the Tri�Cities
Development Corporation, owners of a tract of land out of the
A. J, Huitt Survey, in the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas,
as is more fully hereinafter described, and having held public
hearing thereon, in which all interested owners of property in
the vicinity of said tract were given ample and sufficient
opportunity to be heard in connection with said application,
have recommended to the City Council a change in Zoning Designation
of said tract, as by law provided; Public Notice of final hearing
of said recommendation to be .held before the City Council having
been had by publishing the same in the Mid -- Cities News, the official
publication of the City of Euless, Tess,. on June 27, 1957, and
following such public hearing before the said City Council .held
in accordance with said notice, wherein all owners of property
situated in the City of Euless, Teas, were given ample and sufficient
opportunity to be heard, the City Council deems it to the best int-
erest in the .health, safety and general welfare of the City and its
inhabitants that the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission
be approved, which the Council so finds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
1.
THAT, the Zoning Designation of the property aforementioned and
as described by metes and bounds herein, be, and is hereby ordered
changed from "A" Single Family Dwelling District to "C" Commercial
District; That said property aforementioned is hereby more fully
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 26 feet South 1 deg. 40 min. East
of the NW/c of Block 4, Arnett Addition, said point
also being 300 feet South 1 deg. 40 min. East of the
Southeast R.O.W. of Hwy. x€183;
THENCE, South 1 deg. 40 min. East 600 feet to an iron
pipe and Bois D'Arc stake, the SWfe of said Block 4,
Arnett Addition;
THENCE, North 89 deg. 10 min. West 569,5 feet to a cedar
post in concrete;
THENCE, North 1 deg. 43 min. west 186 feet to a point
for the Nw/c of this tract, said point being south
1 deg, 43 min. East 300 feet from the Southeast R.O.w„
of said Hwy. #183;
THENCE, North S3 deg„ 57 min. East parallel with said
Southeast R.O.w. of Hwy. 4183 650 feet to the place
of beginning.

THAT the official zoning map of the City of Euless, Texas,
be and is .hereby ordered amended and changed to conform with the
provisions hereof.

THIS ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its passage as by law provided.
ADOPTED this 15th day of July, A. D. 1957.
