AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 3020
(BEDFORD - EULESS ROAD), TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING
THAT SUCH ROAD SHALL BECOME A PART OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE BOUNDARIES
OF SAID CITY AS AMENDED AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS County Road 3020 (Bedford- Buless Road) Tarrant County,
Texas, has become a heavily traveled road and the traffic of motor vehicles
is creating a safety hazard; and
WHEREAS the City Council of Euless, Texas deems it advisable to
place such road under its jurisdiction for policing purposes which the City
Can so finds;
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Euless, Texas:
SECTION I.
THAT the following described road in Tarrant County, Texas, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the present City limits of the City
of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas; said point being in the
North Right-of-Way line of County Road No. 3020 (Bedford- -
Euless Road); said point being 1177.8 feet West of the in-
tersection of the North Right --of -Way line of County Road
3020 (Bedford-Euless Road) and the West Right --of -Way line
of F. M. 157;
THENCE West with fbe North Right-of-Way line of County Road
3020 (Bedford - Euless Road) 6082.2 feet;
THENCE South to the South Right-of-Way- line of County Road
3020 (Bedford -- :Euless Road);
THENCE East with the South. Right -of -Way of County Road 3020
(Bedford - Euless Road) 6082.2 feet to the present City limits
of Euless, Texas;
THENCE North with the present City limits of .Euless, Texas
to the place of beginning;
be and is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made
an integral part of the City of Euless, Texas, and that the official map
and the boundaries of the City of Euless, Texas, as heretofore adopted and
amended, be amended so as to include the aforementioned road as a part of
the City.

SECTION II.
This ordinance hall become effective and be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and publication thereof.
