AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RATIFICATION AND VALIDATION
OF ALL ORDINANCES PREVIOUSLY CONSIDERED AND ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY
TEXAS IN THE YEARS PRIOR TO 1975.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Citv of Euless has in the
years prior to 1975 considered and adopted by appropriate vote
numerous city ordinances pertaining to the health and welfare of
the citizens of the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless desires to
ratify and reaffirm all such ordinances adopted prior to the
year 1975.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
That all ordinances previously considered and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Euless prior to year 1975 be again ratified
and approved and that all proceedings and transactions related to such
ordinances be validated in all respects.
II.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its final passage as provided by the Euless City Charter
and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 24th day of April 1979; by a vote of
5 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 8th day of May 1979; by a
vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
