AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJACENT AND
CONTIGUOUS TO CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT SUCH
AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID CITY AND THAT THE OWNERS AND
INHABITA.NTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL OF THE PRIVILEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND
ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED;
FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL
BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts 1953, 53rd Legisla-
ture Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974 -G, Midway Park Developers,
Joint Venturers, of Dallas County, Texas, owners of the real property here-
inafter described, have made application as by law provided to the Mayor and
City Co.:ncil of the City of Euless, Texas, requesting amnexation to the City
of Euless, Texas, of two tracts of land out of the J. P. Halford Survey, in
Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:
TRACT ONE: Beginning at a point in the West line of North
Main Street (The Buless-Grapevine Road) in the present line
of the City Limits, said beginning point being 404.6 feet
South 00 deg. 35 Minutes West from the Southeast corner of
the Midway Park ,Addition to the City of Euless, Texas;
THET -ICE South 00 deg. 35 Min. West 300.0 feet;
THENCE North 89 deg. 25 min. West 309.0 feet;
THENCE North 00c4. 35 min. East 150.0 feet;
THENCE South 88 deg. 33 min. East 159.0 feet;
THE =,ICB North 00 deg. 35 min. Bast 150.0 feet;
THEICE South 88 deg. 33 min. Bast 150.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
TRACT TWO: BEGINNING at a point in the West line of North
Ma=n Street (The Euless - Grapevine Road) in the present line
of the City Limits, said beginning point being 764.6 feet South
00 deg. 35 min. West from the Southeast corner of the Midway
Park Addition to the City of Euless, Texas;
THENCE South 00 deg. 35 min. West 125.0 feet;
THENCE North 89 deg. 25 min. West 309.0 feet;
THENCE North 00 deg. 35 min. Bast 129.67 feet;
THENCE South 88 deg. 33 min. East 309.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Buless, Texas, as provided by law, has
received said petition and duly and legally considered the same, and it ap-
pearing to the Council of said City, that all statutory requirements in
connection with said application have been fulfilled and that said area is
adjacent and contiguous to the City of Euless, Texas, and is not more than
one -half mile in width on which not more than three qualified voters re-
side, all of which the Council so finds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI_LY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:

attached hereto, being adjacent and contiguous to the City Limits of Euless,
Texas, be and is hereby annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of
the City of Euless, Texas, and is hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be en-
titled to all the rights and privileges of other Citizens and property own»
ers of said City, and be bound by all of the acts and ordinances made in
conformity thereto, now in full force and effect and that which may be here -

THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City of Buless, Texas,
as heretofore ado pted and amended be and is hereby amended so as to include
the aforementioned described therein territory as part of the City of Euless,
Texas.
4.
THAT ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect
from and after its passake and approval by the Mayor, and duly attested by
