AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347
IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE
OF ZONING FROM "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT, "R -3"
MULTIPLE FAMILY, TO "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT: PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS
TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO
APPROVED PLANS: AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS
ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City
of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read
as follows:
BEING a tract of land situated in the Solomon Huitt Survey, Abstract
No. 705, City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds, as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 5, Block H, 2nd Installment
of Somerset Place Addition, an addition to the City of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas according to the plat recorded in Volume 388 -51,
Page 51 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE the following courses and distances along the East line of the
2nd Installment of Somerset Place Addition:
North 06 degrees 52 minutes 54 seconds East, 499.71 feet to a point
for corner;
North 42 degrees 50 minutes 47 seconds West, 114.51 feet to a
point for corner;
North 89 degrees 47 minutes 37 seconds West, 7.18 feet to a point
for corner;
North 13 degrees 09 minutes East, 152.61 feet to a point for corner;
North 76 degrees 51 minutes West 4.12 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 12 degrees 52 minutes 49 seconds East, 139.07 feet to a
point for corner, same point being the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Block
F, 2nd Installment of Somerset Place Addition, an addition to the City
of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to the plat recorded in
Volume 388 -51, Page 27 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 89 degrees 45 minutes East, along the South line of Lot
1, Block A INTERNATIONAL VILLAGE ADDITION to the City of Euless a
distance of 590.45 feet to a point; said point being the West
right -of -way line of proposed International Drive;
THENCE South 00 degrees 15 minutes West, along the West right -of -way
line of proposed International Drive a distance of 183.25 feet to a
point;
THENCE South 00 deg. 07 min. 57 sec. West, along the West right -of -way
of proposed International Drive a distance of 682.81 feet to a point;
THENCE North 89 degrees 35 minutes West a distance of 241.39 feet to
a point; said point being on the North line of Westwood Village
Section Four Addition, an addition to the City of Euless, Tarrant
County, Texas, according to the plat recorded in Volume 388 -56, page
75 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 89 degrees 47 minutes 37 seconds West, along the North
line of said Westwood Village Section Four Addition, a distance of
383.22 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 12.01 acres of
land, more or less.
as specifically set forth in the development plan submitted by Applicant dated
June 7, 1979, which development plan is on file in the City of Euless Zoning
Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 288.

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance or the amendments
of the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a
Misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent
amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of
Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless
City Council on the 10th day of July, 1979; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND
APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 24th day of
July, 1979, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
