AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "R -1" SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND "C" CHURCH TO "R -2"
TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT WITH "SP" SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT FOR A DAY CARE CENTER; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO
APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING
MAY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to
read as follows:
That the zoning classification of the following described
property, now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling and "C"
Church, be changed to "R -2" Two Family Dwelling District
with a "SP" Specific Use Permit for a day care center on
property described as follows:
The following described tract or parcel of land being Lots
23, 24, and 25, Block 9, Cedar Hill Estates Addition, to the
the City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat
recorded on Page 89 of Volume 388 -U in the Tarrant County
Deed Records and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 25 and being in
the west line of South Main Street;
Thence southerly along the west line of said South Main Street
a distance of 195.0 feet to the southeast corner of said Lot 23;
Thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 23 a distance
of 155.0 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 23;
Thence northerly a distance of 195.0 feet to the northwest
corner of said Lot 25;
Thence easterly along the north line of said Lot 25 a
distance of 155.0 feet to place of beginning
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant
dated July 23, 1979, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 291.

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more
than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and each day such violation shall be
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by
Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments to the Euless City Charter and
Statutes of the State of Texas.

The ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the
State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 28th day of August, 1979; GIVEN SECOND READING,
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the
11th day of September, 1979, by a vote of _14— ayes, nays, and
abstentions.
