HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-06-04177 Called Meeting Euless City Council June 4, 1962 A called meeting of the Euless City Council was held on June 4, 1962. Present were Mayor J. S. Anderson, Councilmen Billy Byers, Roy Braswell , Billy Owens, and Bobby Fuller. This meeting was called for a public hearing on the request of Mr. E. L. Baker to rezone approximately 108 acres out of the Kitty House Survey, Abstract No. 677, to be zoned "C" Commercial. Interested parties appearing were Messrs. E. L. Baker, Sr., E. L. Baker, Jr., Gerald Lofland, Steve Bakarick, B. F. Hill, and J. 0. Nichols; Wanda Grass, Jackie Dorminy, Betty Dorminy, Eunice Benton, Nhs. W. H. Gotcher, and W. H. Gotcher. A motion was made by Councilman Owens, and seconded by Councilman Fuller, authorizing the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance changing the zoning designation of 108 acres of land out of the Kitty House Survey, Abstract No. 678, to class "C" Commercial, and accept the plat as presented by Nk Baker, which had been previously approved and accepted by the Planning and Zoning Commission on April 23, 1962. And if deemed necessary by the Council to provide an auxillary exit from the theater property. The vote in favor was unanimous. The meeting adjourned. Minutes Approved: -/s/ J. S.
