AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C -2" COMMUNITY
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT
WITH A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR A USED CAR
LOT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND
TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS;
AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to
read as follows:
THAT the zoning classification of the following described
property, now zoned "C -2" Community Business District be
changed to "C -2" Community Business District with a Specific
Use Permit to allow a used car lot on property described a,s
follows:
The following described tract or parcel of land being a portion
of Lot 1, Block 2, S. W. Mills Subdivision, to the City of
Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, according to plat recorded on
Page 7 of Volume 388-J in the Tarrant County Deed Records and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Lot 1, Block 2, said
S. W. Mills Subdivision and being at the intersection of the
East line of Mills Drive with the South line of State Highway No. 10;
THENCE N 550 45' E along the South line of said State Highway
No. 10 a distance of 120.0 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Lot 1, Block 2, said S. W. Mills Subdivision;
THENCE S 340 15' E along the East line of said Lot 1, Block 2,
said S. W. Mills Subdivision a distance of 80.0 feet;
THENCE S 550 45' W a distance of 120.0 feet to the West line
of said Lot 1, Block 2, said S. W. Mills Subdivision and being
in the East line of said Mills Drive;
THENCE N 340 15' W along the East line of said Mills Drive a
diatance of 80.0 feet to place of beginning, containing 0.22
acres of land more or less;
as specifically set forth in the development plans as submitted by Applicant
dated November 7, 1979, which development plan is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 299.

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance, or the
amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two
Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and each day such violation shall be permitted
to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of
the State of Texas.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State
of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless
City Council on the 11th day of December, 1979; GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED
AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 27th
day of December, 1979, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0
abstentions.
