HomeMy WebLinkAbout622 04-22-1980ORDINANCE NO. 622 AN ORDINANCEAMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZOIIING FROM "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordiance No. 347, be amended to read as follows: That the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned "C -1" Neighborhood Business District be changed to "C -2" Community Business District on property described as follows: Being a tract of land situated in the W.G. Matthews Survey, Abstract No. 1052, City of Euless, Tarrant County, Texas, and further being part of a 69.59 acre tract of land conveyed to Euless -Main Venture, by Doral Properties, Inc. as recorded in Volume 6656 at Page 269 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the East line of South Main Street with the North line of Whitner Drive, an iron stake for corner; THENCE N 10 26' E along said East line of South Main Street, a distance of 490.90 feet to the intersection of the said East line of South Main Street with the South line of Landover Drive, an iron stake for corner; THENCE S. 89 53' E along said South line of Landover Drive, a distance of 216.77 feet to an iron stake for corner; THENCE S. l0 26' W along the West line of Twin Creek Estates, an addition to the City of Euless, Texas, part of the way and passing at 128.84 feet the Southwest corner of said Twin Creek Estates, a total distance of 494.75 feet to a point on the said North line of Whitner Drive, an iron stake for corner; THENCE N. 880 52' W along said North distance of 216.72 feet to the PLACE 106,804 square feet or 2.452 acres o as specifically set forth in the development plan dated February 7, 1980, which development plan is Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning line of Whitner Drive, a OF BEGINNING and containing F land. as submitted by Applicant on file in the City of Case No. 304. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance, or the amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas. 0 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas. PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 8th day of April, 1980, GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 22nd day of April, 1980, by a vote of _ayes and d nays.
