HomeMy WebLinkAbout625 06-10-1980ORDINANCE NO. 625 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347 IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "R -4" MULTI- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT: PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT: 1. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read as follows: That the zoning classification of the following described property, now zoned "R -1" Single Family Dwelling District, be changed to "R -4" Multi - Family Dwelling District on property described as follows: The following described Lot 17, Lot 18, Lot 19, Lot 23, ALEXANDER & CUL Euless, Tarrant County, recorded on Page 109 of County Deed Records and described as follows: tract or parcel of land being and a portion of Lot 22 and LUM SUBDIVISION, to the City of Texas according to plat Volume 388 -C in the Tarrant being more particularly BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Lot 17 and being at the intersection of the West line of Cullum Drive with the North line of Alexander Lane; THENCE N 890 52' W along the North line of said Alexander Lane a distance of 620.0 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 23; THENCE N 10 47' W along the West line of said Lot 23 a distance of 271.1 feet; THENCE S 890 52' E a distance of 25.0 feet; THENCE S 890 52' E along the West line of said Lot 22 a distance of 171.8 feet; THENCE N 880 03' E a distance of 194.9 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 19; THENCE S 890 52' E a distance of 317.0 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 19 and being in the West line of said Cullum Drive; THENCE S 10 47' E along the West line of said Cullum Drive a distance of 650.0 feet to place of beginning. as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted by Applicant dated April 7, 1980, which development plan is on file in the City of Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 310. 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance, or the amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and Statutes of the State of Texas. 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas. PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 27th day of May, 1980, GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on the 10th day of June, 1980, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
