AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347
IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A
CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "PD" PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD
BUSINESS DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT
OF THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED
ACCORDING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE
CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS, THAT:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District
Zoning Map of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of
Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read as follows:
That the zoning classification of the following
described property, now zoned "PD" Planned
Development District, be changed to "C -1"
Neighborhood Business District on property described
as follows:
The following described tract or parcel of land
situated in the J. E. Field Survey, A -540, Tarrant
County, Texas and being more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING in the centerline of Glade Road and being
West a distance of 244.5 feet from the Northeast
corner of said J. E. Field Survey;
THENCE West along the centerline of said Glade Road
a distance of 327.7 feet;
THENCE S 00 05' W, at a distance of 25.0 feet the
South line of said Glade Road, a total distance
of 362.5 feet;
THENCE S 880 37' 30" E, at a distance of 516.97 feet
the West line of North Main Street, a total distance
of 542.2 feet to the centerline of said North Main
Street;
THENCE N 40 42' E along the centerline of said
North Main Street a distance of 100.8 feet;
THENCE West, at a distance of 23.18 feet the West
line of said North Main Street, a total distance
of 222.48 feet;
THENCE N Oo 05' E, at a distance of 250.0 feet the
South line of said Glade Road, a total distance
of 275.0 feet to place of beginning, containing
3.248 acres with approximately 0.261 acre being
occupied by said Glade Road and North Main Street
leaving a net acreage of 2.987 acres of land more
or less.
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted
by Applicant dated April 18, 1980, which development plan is
on file in the City of Euless Zoning Records and file attached
to Zoning Case No. 311.

Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance,
or the amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby
made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be
liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City Charter and
Statutes of the State of Texas.
3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and
the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council on the 27th day of May, 1980,
GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 10th day of June, 1980,
by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
