Euless City Council
July 2, 1962
A called meeting of the Euless City Council
was held on July 21, 1962. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the
purchase of air conditioning units for City Hall.
A motion was made by Councilman Fuller,
and seconded by Councilman Byers, to approve and accept the bids of
$1200.00 from Quigley Heating and Air Conditioning Company on condition
that they can have the unit installed and operating by July 10, 1962. If
Quigley cannot produce as above, to give the purchase to Dallas Heating and
Air Conditioning Company at $1350.00 with the same stipulations. In the
event neither can comply, the City Secretary is authorized to purchase
a comparable unit at a comparable price at his discretion. The vote i n
favor was unanimous.
The meeting adjourned.
