AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347
IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A
CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "PD" PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT TO "R -2" TWO- FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR DEVELOPMENT OF
THIS TRACT OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED ACCORD-
ING TO APPROVED PLANS; AMENDING THE CITY OF
EULESS ZONING MAP; PROVIDING A PENALTY;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map
of the City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347,
be amended to read as follows:
That the zoning classification of the following
described property, now zoned "PD" Planned
Development be changed to "R -2" Two - Family
Dwelling District on property described as follows:
The following described tract or parcel of land situated
in the J. E. Field Survey, A -540, Tarrant County, Texas
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the centerline of Glade Road (County Road
No. 3036) and being West a distance of 572.2 feet from
the Northeast corner of said J. E. Field Survey;
THENCE West along the centerline of said Glade Road
(County Road No. 3036) a distance of 516.89 feet;
THENCE S 00 12' 30" W a distance of 1318.56 feet to the
centerline of a 50 foot dedicated roadway (not open on
the ground);
THENCE S 890 50' 15" E along the centerline of said 50
foot dedicated roadway (not open on the ground) a distance
of 519.76 feet;
THENCE S 890 49' 40" along the centerline of said 50 foot
dedicated roadway (not open on the ground)a distance of
467.24 feet to the centerline of North Main Street
(County Road No. 3129);
THENCE N 40 42' E along the centerline of said North Main
Street (County Road No. 3129) a distance of 780.5 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 234.79 feet;
THENCE North a distance of 174.0 feet;
THENCE N 880 37' 30" W a distance of 295.1 feet;
THENCE N 00 05' E a distance of 362.5 feet to place of
beginning, containing 25.762 acres of land with approxi-
mately 0.775 acre being occupied by said Glade Road and
North Main Street leaving a net acreage of 24.987 acres
of land more or less.
as specifically set forth in the development plan as submitted
by Applicant dated September 19, 1980, which development plan
is on file in the City of Euless Zoning Records and file
attached to Zoning Case No. 322.
II.
Severability Clause. That it is hereby declared to be the
intention of the City Council that the sections, paragraphs,
sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable,
and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of
this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional by the valid
judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such
unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases,
clauses, sentences, paragraphs, and sections of this ordinance,
since the same would have been enacted by the City Council with-
out the incorporation in this ordinance of any such unconstitut-
ional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section.
III.
Penalty for Violation. Any person violating the provisions
of this Ordinance, or the amendments to the Euless City Charter
of 1961 hereby made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
shall be liable to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00), and each day such violation shall be permitted to
exist shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by
Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless City
Charter and.Statutes of the State of Texas.
IV.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage as provided by the Euless
City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas.

PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of
Euless City Council on the 28th day of October, 1980; GIVEN
SECOND READING, PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 11th day of November, 1980, by a
vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 absentions.
