AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 488,
AN ORDINANCE PREVIOUSLY AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 347, SAME BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; BY PROVIDING
FOR A DELETION OF A RESTRICTION PROSCRIBING
ENTRANCES FROM NORTH MAIN STREET TO CERTAIN
LOTS REZONED BY SUCH ORDINANCE NO. 488 FROM
"R -L "SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "PD"
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; AMENDING
THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP SO AS TO
DELETE THE APPLICATION OF SUCH PROSCRIP-
TION TO CERT ":AN LOTS THEREIN NAMED AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, by the adoption of Ordinance No. 488, the City
Council of the City of Euless, Texas, did approve an amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance to the City of Euless, Texas, to -wit:
Ordinance No. 347, by rezoning certain property therein des-
cribed from "R -1" Single - Dwelling District to "PD" Planned Deve-
lopment District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in approving such zoning change,
did also, pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Euless,
Texas, adopt a development plan submitted by the applicant of
such zoning change under date of January 5, 1975, which de-
velopment plan is referenced within such Ordinance No. 488; and
WHEREAS, the City of Euless, Texas, did further impose
upon such property and in the approval of such development plan
certain restrictions upon the permissible land use with respect
to such property, one of which restrictions did provide "That
there be no entrance from North Main Street to Lots 1 -10. ", of
the property contained within such rezoning and development
plan; and
WHEREAS, as a result of change of circumstances and fol-
lowing appropriate application and public hearing thereon, the
City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, desires to amend such
prior Ordinance No. 488 to the Zoning Code of the City of Euless,
Texas, so as to provide a modification of such above noted
applicable land use restriction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, as follows:

Ordinance No. 488, amending the Zoning Code of the City of
Euless, Texas, same being Ordinance No. 347, is herewith amended
so as to provide that the restrictions stated as paragraph 1 of
Article II of such Ordinance No. 488 be and the same is herewith
amended to hereafter be and read as follows:
"That there be no entrance from North Main Street to
Lots 1 through 10 save and except that entranceways
from North Main Street for circular driveways shall
be allowed on Lots 1, 3R and 1OR as same be now
platted in Block 2, OAKWOOD ACRES ESTATES, Section
2, No. 1, to the City of Euless, Texas, which en-
trance ways for purpose of construction and main-
tenance of circular driveways serving Lots 1 through
10 are hereby specifically authorized."
II.
Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter
and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of
the Euless City Council on the 11th day of November, 1980; by
a vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays and 1 abstention; GIVEN SECOND READING;
PASSED AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City
Council on the 25th day of November, 1980, by a vote of
4 ayes, 0 nayes and 0 abstentions.
