AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A DRAIN-
AGE CHANNEL AND PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE AGREE-
MENT APPLICABLE THERETO IN THE WESTPARK
CENTRAL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF EULESS,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Euless, Texas, after care-
ful study and consideration, has determined that the portion of
a drainage channel more particularly described in Exhibit "A ",
attached hereto, and one certain Perpetual Maintenance Agreement,
as same appertains to such drainage easement, is no longer
necessary, useful, nor convenient to the public in general and,
therefore, constitutes a public charge without a corresponding
public benefit and that the public and the land charged with
such easement would be better served, utilized and benefited by
a
its vacation and abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
That certain drainage easement, more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by re-
ference as though now set forth in full, is, for all intents
and purposes, hereby vacated and abandoned as a public right -of-
way and drainage easement and channel.
II.
That certain Perpetual Maintenance Agreement, dated the
22nd day of June, 1973, by and between Harry B. Hunsicker and
the City of Euless, Texas, and recorded in Volume 5490 at Page
35, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, is, for all intents and
purposes, hereby terminated as same pertains to that certain
drainage channel more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
hereto and that the owner of the property now encumbered by
such drainage channel, hereby vacated, together with their
successors and assigns, are hereby discharged from all duties
and obligations attendant or incident to such Perpetual Main-
tenance Agreement, so far only as same affects the drainage
channel discribed in Exhibit "A" hereto.
III.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage as provided by law.

EXHIBIT "A"
20.0 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT
IN TRACT 3
WESTPARK CENTRAL
EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS
The following described tract or parcel of land being the
centerline of a 20.0 foot drainage easement as shown on
Exhibit A as recorded on Page 40 of Volume 5490 in the
Tarrant County Deed Records said drainage easement being in
Tract 3, WESTPARK CENTRAL, to the City of Euless, Tarrant
County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING in the East line of said Tract 3 and being approximately
230.0 feet from the Southeast corner of said Tract 3;
THENCE Westerly a distance of approximately 100.0 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the left;
THENCE Southwesterly along said curve a distance of approximately
250.0 feet;
THENCE Southwesterly a distance of approximately 120.0 feet to
the South line of said Tract 3.
