AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347, IDENTIFIED
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS;
AMENDING THE CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP; PROVIDING FOR
A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT TO
"C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
OUT OF THE A.J.HUITT SURVEY IN THE CITY OF EULESS;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY
AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
I.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Official District Zoning Map of the
City of Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended
to read as hereinafter set forth.
The zoning classification of the following described property, now
zoned "PD" Planned Development to be changed to "C -2" Community
Business District on the following property.
Being a tract or parcel of land out of the A. J. Huitt
Survey, Abstract #684, situated in the City of Euless,
Tarrant County, Texas, and more particularly a part of
that certain parcel in said survey conveyed to Ralph G.
Campbell and Jeroleen Johnson Campbell Trust as recorded
in Volume 6789, page 410, Deed Records of Tarrant County,
Texas, and this part is described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of said Campbell Tract,
same being the southwest corner of Tract 4D1, said corner
is East 1286.11 feet and South 1 degree - 42' East 225.0
feet from the northwest corner of said Huitt Survey;
THENCE East along the north line of said Campbell Tract
251.07 feet to an iron pin for corner, same being the
southeast corner of Tract 01;
THENCE South 1 degree - 54' East 238.0 feet to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE West 251.97 feet to an iron pin for corner in the
west line of said Campbell Tract;
THENCE North 1 degree - 42' West along the west line of
said Tract 238.0 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining 59,862 square feet, more or less, or 1.374 acres
of land,
as specifically set forth as submitted by Applicant on May 13, 1981,
which is on file in the City of Euless Zoning Records and file attached
to Zoning Case No. 339.
II.
Said application submitted by Applicant and dated May 13, 1981, shall
be incorporated in this ordinance by reference and made a part hereof
for all purposes as now set forth in full.
III.
Severability Clause. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the
City Council of the City of Euless that the sections, paragraphs, sentences,
clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable and if any phrase,
clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared
unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent
jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remain-
ing clauses, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, and sections of this ordinance,
since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the
incorproation in this ordinance of any such unconstitutional phrase,
clause, sentence, paragraph, or section.
IV.
Penalty for Violation. Any person violating the provisions of this
ordinance, or the amendments to the Euless City Charter of 1961 hereby
made, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be liable to a
fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), and each day such
violation shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense,
as provided by Ordinance No. 347 and subsequent amendments of the Euless
City Charter and the Statutes of the State of Texas.

V.
Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the
laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 23rd day of June, 1981, by a vote of 4 ayes,
0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED, AND APPROVED at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 7th day of July, 1981, by a vote of
5 ayes, O nays, and 0 abstentions.
