AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING ASSESSMENTS
HERETOFORE LEVIED BY THE CITY OF FORT WORTH FOR A
PART OF THE COST OF IMPROVING SOUTH PIPELINE ROAD
FROM STATE HIGHWAY 10 TO RAIDER ROAD, WHICH PORTION
OF SAID STREETS ARE WHOLLY LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, SAID ASSESSMENTS HAVING
BEEN LEVIED AGAINST THE OWNERS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WHICH
PROPERTIES ABUT SAID STREETS BUT ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THIS CITY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the use by citizens of the City of Euless and the City
of Fort Worth of that portion of South Pipeline Road from State Highway 10
to Raider Road in Fort Worth, Texas, requires that said portion of said
street be improved by paving, curb and gutter, etc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Worth has heretofore
determined the necessity for and has ordered the construction of said
improvements and has levied assessments for a part of the cost of said
improvements in strict accordance with the provisions of Article 1105b
of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas; and,
WHEREAS, some of said assessments were levied against the owners
of certain tracts of land which abut the said street to be improved but
are located within the corporate limits of this City; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of said improvements will enhance the
value of each of said tracts and specially benefit each of said tracts and
the owner thereof in an amount equal to the amount assessed against it;
EULESS:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

That the following assessments heretofore levied by the City Council
of the City of Fort Worth in Ordinance No. 8362, dated June 16, 1981, be in
all things hereby ratified and approved in strict compliance with Section
1(b) of Article 1105b of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas;

II.
This ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage and
publication as required by law.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a called meeting of the Euless City Council
on the 7th day of July, 1981, by a vote of five ayes, no nays, and no abstentions.
GIVEN SECOND READING, PASSED, AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City
Council on the 28th day of July, 1981, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0
abstentions.
