AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES NO. 447,
451 and 462, SAME BEING THE ORDINANCES
PROVIDING FOR THE COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL
CONCERNS TO CHANGE THE NAME THEREOF TO
THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR SOCIAL CONCERNS;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Euless City Council by the adoption of
Ordinances No. 447, 451 and 462 did establish and provide for the
Council for Social Concerns; and
WHEREAS, it the desire of the Euless City Council to change
the name of such body to the Advisory Board for Social Concerns so
as to more accurately reflect the purpose and authority of such
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, as follows:

Ordinances No. 447, 451 and 462 are herewith amended so as
to reflect the name of the Council for Social Concerns to hereafter
be the Advisory Board for Social Concerns.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage as provided by the Euless City Charter and the
laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of
the Euless City Council on the 8th day of June , 1982; by a
vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays and abstentions; GIVEN SECOND
READING AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Euless City
Council on the 22nd day of June , 1982; by a vote
of 5 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions.
