AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347, IDENTIFIED AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; AMENDING THE
CITY OF EULESS ZONING MAP; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING
FROM "PD" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT FOR "C -1" NEIGHBORHOOD BUS-
INESS DISTRICT USES TO "C -2" COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT, ON
CERTAIN PROPERTY OUT OF THE J. E. FIELD SURVEY, A -540;
PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY AND
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the Official District Zoning Map of the City of
Euless, Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read as
hereinafter set forth.
The zoning classification of certain property situated in the J. E. Field
Survey, A -540, Tarrant County, Texas, now zoned "PD" Planned Development
for "C -1" Neighborhood Business District Uses, be changed to "C -2"
Community Business District, and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the centerline of County Road No. 3129 and being South 4
degrees -42 minutes West, a distance of 376.69 feet from the Northeast
corner of the said J. E. Field Survey;
THENCE, South 4 degrees -42 minutes West along the centerline of said
County Road No. 3129, a distance of 168.6 feet;
THENCE, West at a distance of 25.08 feet the West line of said County Road
No. 3129, a total distance of 234.79 feet;
THENCE, North a distance of 174.0 feet;
THENCE, South 88 degrees -37 minutes East at a distance of 223.63 feet the
West line of said County Road No. 3129, a total distance of 248.68 feet to
place of beginning, containing 0.949 acre of land with approximately
0.097 acre being occupied by said County Road No. 3129, leaving a net
acreage of 0.352 acre of land more or less, as specifically set forth as
submitted by Applicant on May 26, 1983, which is on file in the City of
Euless Zoning Records and file attached to Zoning Case No. 409.
SECTION 2
The property hereby rezoned as described herein shall be applicable to all
uses set forth in Euless Zoning Ordinance No. 347, and the conditions
outlined for "C -2" Community Business District uses.
SECTION 3
Severability Clause. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City
Council of the City of Euless that the sections, paragraphs, sentences,
clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable; and, if any phrase,
clause, sentence paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared
unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent
jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remain-
ing phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, or sections of this ordi-
nance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without
the incorporation in this ordinance of any such unconstitutional phrase,
clause, sentence, paragraph, or section.
SECTION 4
Penalty for Violation. Any person, firm, 1

PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the Euless City
Council on the 23rd day of August, 1983, by a vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays,
and 0 abstentions.
