A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
MEETINGS IN AUGUST 2017 FROM TUESDAY, AUGUST 8, 2017, AND
TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2017, TO TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2017, AND
TUESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2017.
WHEREAS, due to budgetary schedules conflicting with the dates of regularly
scheduled council meetings for the city council consideration of the FY 2018 budget and
tax rate ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 00-1058 was approved to provide for the rescheduling of
a Regular City Council Meeting to a date other than the second or fourth Tuesday of the
month;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS HEREBY
RESOLVES, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The regularly scheduled City Council Meetings to be held on Tuesday, August 8,
2017, and Tuesday, August 22, 2017, have been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 15,
2017, and Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
SECTION 2.
The City Secretary shall cause to be published this notice of rescheduled meetings
at least one time in the official newspaper of the city.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
January 24, 2017, by a vote of 7 ayes, o nays, and 0 abstentions.
