"Cleghorn" - America's Celtic Rock Band (6:30 - 8 p.m.)
“Jiggernaut” - Celtic Rock Band
(8:30 - 9:30 p.m.)
Texas Star Golf Course
1400 Texas Star Parkway
Arts Council Northeast and the City of Euless are thrilled to welcome
Cleghorn - America's Celtic Rock Band for a free concert. The musical engine
of Cleghorn is renowned fiddler Dylan Cleghorn and his father, the
legendary Texas guitarist John Cleghorn. Their unique brand of "Celtic rock"
mixes their original songwriting with high energy fiddle and bagpipe tunes.
Jiggernaut is not your typical Celtic band, nor are they your typical rock
band. Formed in 2000, Jiggernaut is a powerful combination of of Celtic,
rock and folk music. Drawing from years of experience playing rock and
roll, and blues the rhythm section lays down a solid foundation that allows
the bagpipes and vocals to soar. Food and drinks will be available for
purchase. Admission is free for everyone!

We are excited about our upcoming junior golf

year olds, will focus on the fundamentals of the
golf game with an emphasis on full swing
mechanics, short game and putting. Clubs will be
provided if needed. For more information, please
call Jeffrey Langas at 817-685-7888 or
jlangas@eulesstx.gov.
Northern Texas PGA
Junior League Golf
Junior golfers can also participate in the Northern
Texas PGA Junior League Golf. This league is
designed to bring a "Little League" atmosphere to
the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls,
from ages 8 to 13, PGA Junior League provides a
structured league environment for young golfers
to compete and have fun! This is a great way to
introduce kids to the game of golf. We plan to
start our season in the last week of May and our
season will run for 5 to 6 weeks depending on the
number of teams involved. For more information,
please call Jeffrey Langas at 817-685-7888 or

Trimming Your Trees
Trees in Euless can provide a lot of beauty and shade,
but they are also a potential hazard for fire trucks on
their way to an emergency. The windshield of a fire
truck can easily be shattered due to a large limb
hanging low in the street. Fire trucks are taller than
they may appear and require a fifteen foot clearance
over the street.
You or your neighbors may have recently received a
letter from Euless Code Compliance requesting your
help with trimming trees on your property. In the
event of a fire or medical emergency in your home,
or the home of a neighbor, it is vitally important that
your neighborhood is rapidly accessible. It is the
responsibility of the property owner to maintain the
fifteen foot clearance.
If you have trees that may require trimming, please
measure the fifteen foot clearance from one foot
behind the curb line.
If you have questions or would like more
information, please call the Fire Department at 817-
685-1600. Your assistance in this matter is truly
appreciated and can have a profound impact on the
safety and well-being of you and your neighbors.
