Billy Byers, Billy Owens, Roy Braswell, Bobby Fuller, and H. M. Huffman. Present were Mayor J. S. Anderson, Councilmen The invocation was given by Mayor Anderson. The minutes of the previous meeting of February Visitor in attendance was Howard Kuehn. 12, 1963, were approved by the Council. 1. A motion was made by Councilman Owens, and seconded by Councilman Byers t o approve the preliminary plat of Morrisdale Estates second Filing, as presented by Paul Huffhines and Bob Harvey and as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Engineer; with the following stipulations: flow of water may not be altered except by approval from the City Engineer. A motion was made by Councilman Braswell, and seconded by Councilman Byers, instructing the City Engineer and City Manager t o contact Mr. C. K. Rickel, re: right-of-way for extension of Pebble Creek Drive t o lower Pipeline Road. The vote in favor was unanimous. 3. A motion was made by Councilman Fuller, and seconded by Councilman Braswell, that Item 6 of the Council meeting minutes of July 10, 1962, be deleted. The vote in favor was unanimous. 4. A motion was made by Councilman Byers, and seconded by Councilman Fuller, authorizing the Social Security program for City employess, and filing the proper forms w i t h the State Health, Welfare and Education Department, making i t retroactive t o January 1, 1963, funds t o be deposited, one-half i n each bank i n the City of Euless Savings Account. The vote in favor was unanimous. 5. The Council agreed t o invite the Bedford City Council t o meet jointly w i t h the Euless City Council a t Western Hills Inn a t 7:OO p.m., Friday, March 1, 1963, for dinner and discussion of Annexation Ordinances of both c i t i e s . A motion was made by Councilman Byers, and seconded by Councilman Braswell, authorizing the City Manager t o sign checks on all accounts, along with the signature of either the Mayor or Mayor Pro-tern. The vote i n favor was unanimous. 7. Mayor Pro-tern Ful l e r , ( i n temporary absence of Mayor Anderson) appointed Councilmen Byers and Braswell , the City Manager and the City Attorney t o investigate availability o f sites for the City Hall and Civic Center and t o report at the next council meeting.
