SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING
MEETING OF FEBRUARY 2, 2017

The Teen Court Advisory Board of the cities of Hurst, Euless and Bedford, Texas met at
5:00 p.m. at Bedford City Hall, Conference Room Upstairs, on the 2nd day of February, 2017 with
the following members present:
HURST: Aaron Switzer
EULESS: Robin Edwards, Moses Vakalahi
BEDFORD: Kathleen Toms
HEB Teen Court Coordinator— Mindy Eichorst
CALL TO ORDER
Advisory Board Chairperson Kathleen Toms called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. with a
quorum of four Board Members present.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review, evaluate and discuss HEB Teen Court teen volunteer scholarship
applications.
There were four scholarship applications to look over. The applicants: Madeline Burnell, L.D. Bell High
School, Olivia Cunningham, Nolan High School, Nisha Dalai, L.D. Bell High School, and Katrina
Mikhail, Westlake Academy. Robin Edwards made a motion to award each of the applicants with a
$1,000 scholarship and Aaron Switzer seconded the motion. All Committee Members were in favor.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting ws adjourned at 5:46 p.m.
