The City Council of the City of Euless, after careful study and consideration, has determined that the portion of the public street, hereinafter specifically described, is not being used by, nor useful, nor convenient to the public in general; therefore, it constitutes a public charge without a corresponding public benefit, and the public would be better served and benefited by its vacation and abandonment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The portion of the public street situated in Huntington Place ADDITION to the City of Euless, particularly described in Exhibit No. 1, attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes, is hereby vacated and abandoned as a public street. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage as provided by law. PRESENTED AND GIVEN first reading on the 28th day of May , 19 85 1 at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas; and given second reading, passed and approved on the 11th day of June , 19 85 , by a vote of -5 ayes and io nays at a Q meeting of the City Council of the City of Euless, Texas.
