AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347,
IDENTIFIED AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS; AMENDING THE CITY OF
EULESS ZONING DISTRICT MAP ON CERTAIN PRO-
PERTY OUT OF THE JOHN GROVES SURVEY, A -599,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE
OF ZONING FROM COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT
(C -2) TO LIMITED INDUSTRIAL (L -1); PROVIDING
FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has conducted a public
hearing on February 18, 1986, in conjunction with Zoning Case No.
86 -04, and has determined that the proposed change is in the best
interest of the general welfare of the City of Euless;
WHEREAS, City Council has conducted a public hearing on March 25,
1986, considered the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning
Commission, and has determined that the proposed change is in the
best interest of the general welfare of the City of Euless;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EULESS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the official zoning district map of the City of Euless,
Texas, being a part of Ordinance No. 347, be amended to read so
that the zoning district classification of that portion of 1.722
acres of land generally located east of Raider Drive, south and
adjacent to S.H. 10 and north of South Pipeline Road, more
particularly described in Exhibits "A" and "A -1" (attached hereto
and made a part hereof, now zoned Community Business District
(C -2), is hereby changed to Limited Industrial District (L -1).
SECTION 2

SEVF.RABILITY CLAUSE. It is hereby declared to be the intention
of the City Council of the City of Euless that the sections,
paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are
severable; and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or
section of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional by
the valid judgment or decree of any

PENALTY FOR VIOLATION. Any person, firm, or corporation vio-
lating the terms and provisions of this ordinance, or the amend-
ments to the City of Euless Charter hereby made, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
liable to a fine in an amount not to exceed One Thousand Dollars
($1,000), and each day such violation shall be permitted to exist
shall constitute a separate offense, as provided by Ordinance No.
347, and subsequent amendments to the Euless City Charter and
Statutes of the State of Texas.

SECTION 4
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, as provided by the Euless City
Charter and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST READING at a regular meeting of the
Euless City Council on the 25th day of March, 1986, by a vote of
5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
PRESENTED AND PASSED ON SECOND AND FINAL READING at a regular
meeting of the Euless City Council on the 8th day of April, 1986,
by a vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
