Staff members present included City Secretary Kim Sutter, Director of Finance Janina Jewell, Assistant to the City Manager Betsy Deck, Texas Star General Manager Glenda Hartsell -Shelton, Information Services Administrator Scott Joyce, Library Administrator Sherry Knight, Human Resources — Risk Administrator Carolyn Marshal, Fleet and Facilities Administrator Kyle McAdams, Municipal Courts Manager Teresa Alexander, Assistant Police Chief Gary Landers, Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Morris, Fire Division Chief/Operations Chanc Bennett, Senior Police Officer Robert Bryan, Recreation Specialist Ofa Faiva-Siale, Senior Police Corporal Rocky Fimbres, Police Corporal James Gordon, Police Lieutenant Wayne Pavlik, Fire Marshal Paul Smith, Police Lieutenant Brandon Zachary, Senior Police Officer Robert Bryan, Senior Police Officer Chris White, Assistant Director of Public Works James Whitt, Code Inspector James Patterson, and Utility Billing Manager Leigh Ann Toney, and Recreation Assistant Ofa Faiva-Siale. Deputy City Manager Bob Freeman introduced the Panel. TOPICS OF DISCUSSION Staff addressed questions from the audience related to the following: - Budget Proposed legislation related to closed sessions and economic development Parking along Simmons Drive Visibility of "No Right on Red" sign at Ash Lane and Fuller Wiser - Status of Main Street bridge reconstruction Honoring Officer David S. Hofer - Midtown Express construction o Status of restaurants displaced by construction - Residential speed limits, specifically Harris Drive Traffic signal timing at FM 157 and SH 183 Trap, neuter and release program for feral cats (Mid Cities Community Cats) Sidewalks on Ash Lane at Chittam Water meter replacements Parks and Community services activities Mike Collins presented a development update including Glade Parks, Founders Parc (Midtown), Kroger expansion, John Peter Smith medical office, Gala at Oakcrest, proposed senior housing development at Glade and SH 121, and new residential development. The Mayor and City Council expressed their appreciation to those in attendance for their questions and comments.
