AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16, SECTION 16 -23 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF EULESS, MONTHLY
CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EULESS:

That the schedule of monthly rates and charges for water and
sewer services furnished or caused to be furnished by the City as
set out in Chapter 16, Section 16 -23 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Euless, be and the same hereby is amended as follows:
Water Service Minimum Rate ................$4.50
Sewer Service Minimum Rate ................$4.20
SECTION 2
ALL ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with any
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3
EMERGENCY CLAUSE. By the affirmative vote of four or more of its
members, the City Council declares that this is an ordinance for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health
and safety, and is an emergency measure within the meaning of
Article II, Section 11, of the City Charter; and the requirement
that it be read at two meetings, as specified in such Section 12,
is hereby dispensed with.
SECTION 4
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by the
Euless Ctiy Charter and the laws of the State of Texas.
PRESENTED AND GIVEN FIRST AND FINAL READING at a regular meeting
of the Euless City Council on the 27th day of September, 1988, by
a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
