May 16, 2017
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 2:00 p. m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall, 201 N. Ector Drive, Euless, Texas. Those present included Mayor Linda Martin and
Council Members Linda Eilenfeldt and Harry Zimmer.
Pursuant to Section 67.004 of the Texas Election Code, two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election.

Deputy City Manager Bob Freeman
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker
City Secretary Kim Sutter
ITEM NO. I CANVASSED THE RETURNS AND DECLARED THE RESULTS
OF THE MAY 6, 2017 CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION
City Secretary Kim Sutter presented the results of the May 6, 2017 City Council General
Election:
TOTAL PERCENTAGE
Mayor Linda Martin 2,351 83.61%
Tupou Helu Uhatafe 461 16.39%
Place 2 Jeremy Tompkins 1,684 54.60%
Salman Bhojani 1,330 43.13%
Vera Layton 70 2.27%
Place 4 Linda Eilenfeldt 2,337 100.00%
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST: 3,084 (10.8% voter turnout)
Council Member Eilenfeldt motioned to canvass the returns and declare the results of the
May 6, 2017 City Council General Election as presented.
Council Member Zimmer seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Martin and Council Members Eilenfeldt and Zimmer

Nays: None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried.
ITEM NO. 3 ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:01 p.m.
