EULESS CITY COUNCIL.
BUDGET WORKSESSION
JUNE 26, 1982
The Euless City Council met at the Stagecoach Inn, Salado, Texas,
for a budget worksess i 2n on Saturday, June 26, 1982, from 8:00 A.M. until
11:30 P.M., with adjournment at noon for lunch and adjournment at 6 :00 P.M.
for an evening meal,
Persons present. were Mayor Harold D. Samuels, Mayor Pro Tern; Willie
Mae McCormick, Councilman Glenn Walker, Councilman Ron Sternfels, and
Councilman Robert Pippin. Councilman Bob Eden was absent. Staff members
present were City- Manager W. M. Sustaire, City Secretary Kay Rainey, City
Engineer James Knight, and Director of Finance Jim Hic kerscsn.
Those in attendance discussed anticipated revenues for fiscal year
1982 --83, the proposed budget for fiscal year 1982-83, ambulance service,
and water rates.
Councilman Walker moved to table consideration of setting new
water rates until the Fall of 1982, after more data is available.
Councilman Pippin seconded the motion.
Ayes: Messrs. Walker, Pippin, and Sternfels
Nays: Mrs. McCormick
Absent: Mr. Eden
Mayor Samuels declared the motion carried.
There being no further business before the City Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 11 :30 P.M.
