CALL TO ORDER

A called meeting of the Euless City Council was called order at 5::30
P.M., on Monday, September 20, 1982, in the Council C,hanbers of the Euless
Municipal Building, by Mayor Harold D. Samuels, Councilmernhe rs in attendance
were Mayor Pro Teri, Willie Mae !s4cCorrick, and Councilmen Robert Pippin
Glenn Walker, Bob Eden, and Ron Sternfels.
Staff members in attendance were C.lty Manager W. M. Sustaire, City
Secretary Kay Rainey, and City Attorney Bob McFarland.
Guests .included Tax Assessor-Collector Bill Brown, Mid Cities Daily News
Reporter Liz Newlin, and Fort Worth Star Telegram Reporter Clara Turns,
1T EM i; CONSIDERATION OF CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
' ay'or Samuels explained the purpose of the meeting and a general
discussion was had on the various procedures involved in the Property Tax Code.
Mr. Pippin moved to call a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 28,
1982, at 7:30 P.M., for the purpose of hearing a proposal to increase the total tax
revenues from properties on the tax roll in 1981 by 26.177%.
Mr. Sternfels seconded the motion.
Ayes: Messrs, Pippin, Sternfels, Eden, Walker, Mrs, McCormick
Nays; None

There tieing no further business before the City Council, the meeting was
adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
