The Board, as appointed, and also as mandated by state law, is as follows: Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor, City of Euless Bobby Baker, Mayor Pro Tem, City of Euless Chris Harris, Senator, State of Texas Carolyn Park, State Representative, State of Texas Bob Hampton, County Commissioner, Tarrant County Larry Manire, President, HEB School Board Ron Caloss, Superintendent, HEB School District Del Bennet, Bennett Consolidated Bruce Luckock, Bennett Consolidated We are excited about the diversity and quality of our Board. We feel fortunate that we have a group of individuals who can help make this project a reality in Euless. We are now calling our first meeting. We are scheduling this meeting for 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 1996. The meeting will be in the downstairs conference room, Building A, Euless Municipal Complex, 201 N. Ector Drive. The purpose of this meeting will be for each of the Board members to get acquainted, review the proposed bylaws for the Board and to review responsibilities and actions that will be necessary for the TIF Board. We will then be scheduling a second meeting at a time established at the first meeting to begin taking formal actions. To this end, please bang your calendar so we can establish days and times that would be good for future meetings. Let me assure you that this Board will not be a time-consuming one. There will need to be several meetings in the near future and then only on an infrequent and as needed basis. 201 N. Ector Drive. Euless. We are pleased to report that even though the project is not finalized, it is moving forward. This is why it is now time to begin bringing the Board into the process. The initial action the Board will be considering will be to approve a financing plan. This is for the most part what was included in the ordinance creating the TIF. This is a preliminary step and will not involve any bond issues at this time. Consideration of bone issues would be at a later date and only if the project is a final go. Hopefully, each of you will be able to attend our inaugural meeting. If you have questions, please call either me or Tom Cox, Economic Development Director for the City of Euless.
