City Attorney Cribbs presented Resolution No. 69 declaring the results of the election. Mayor Fuller read the vote count as presented by the Election Officials, which is as follows: Edward A. Smith 211 Mayor W. G. Fuller called the mmeting of the Euless City Council to order at 8:55 P. M. and announced that this meeting was called for the purpose at canvassing the votes of the Euless City Council Election held April 7, 1964... the election of three (3) councilmen. Councilmen in attendance were: Bill Byers, H. M. Huffman, Billy Owens and Bobby Fuller. Also present were City Manager Lee Cowell, City Attorney James Cribbs and City Secretary Vada Ferris. City Attorney Cribbs presented Resolution No. 69 declaring the results of the election. Mayor Fuller read the vote count as presented by the Election Officials, which is as follows: Edward A. Smith 211 Don R. Warren 242 Tommy Edgar Wright 127 Robert A. "Bob" Baker 139 Frank E. Douglass 253 B i 1 1 J. Wright 85 Bobby R. Fuller 259 Paul D. Gates 191 Write -In Votes George Jetton 4 Burt Hyde, M. D. 2 Woodrow Thompson 1 Sam Cadenhead 1 Don M. Kelley 1 J. W. Burke 1 TOTAL VOTES - '516 Councilman Owens made the motion that Resolution No. 69 be adopted declaring Messrs. Don Warren, Frank Douglass acid Bobby R. Fuller elected to the office of City Councilman for a term of two years or until their successors are duly elected and qualified. Councilman Huffman seconded the motion which carried unanimously. Mayor Fuller, on behalf of the council, thanked the election officials for their work during the election. Councilman Byers made the motion that the meeting adjourn.
