CALL TO ORDER
1990 -086
An emergency meeting of the Euless City Council was called to
order at 630 p.m., on Thursday, May 17, 1990, in the Council.
Chambers of the Euless Municipal Building by Mayor Harold D.
Samuels to consider .sider an ordinance denying a requests rate in-
crease and approving an existing rate schedule to be charged by
Texas Utilities Electric Company. Those present were Council -
members Bobby Baker, Frank Douglass, Bob Eden and Mary Lib. Sa1eh-

ITEM NO I.: CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO 1023
Mr, Eden moved to approve Ordinance No. 1023 on an emergency
basis denying a requested rate increase and approving existing
rat schedules to be charged by Texas Utilities Electric Company.
Mrs. Saleh seconded the motion.
Ayes: Messrs. Baker, Douglass, Eden and Mrs. Saleh
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion. carried.

Mayor Samuels announced that a public briefing would be given by
the United States Army Corps of Engineers tonight at 7:00 pt in
the Council Chambers regarding the Corps report on the Sulphur
Branch Drainage Project-

emergency meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm.
