M in the Council Chambers at the Euless City Hall for the purpose of Canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Bond Election, Mayor W. G, Fuller called the meeting to order and the following councilmen were present: Messrs, Bobby Fuller, Billy Byers, Bi l I y Owens and Frank Douglassf Also present were: City Manager Lee Cowell, City Attorney James Cribbs, and City Secretary Vada Ferris'. VISITORS Visitors in attendance were: Mr, and Mrs, B i I I Ratliff, Mr, Henry Keller, Mr. W. J, "Doc" Hyde, Mr, V, M�. Sustaire, and Election Officials Luther Anders, Alton Ray, Mrs, W. J', Hyde, Mrs, Geneva Himes, Mrs, Jo Ingram and Mrs, Jean Tribble', CANVASSING CF VOTES Mayor Fuller read the Resolution canvass- ing returns and declaring results of election and the results are as follows: ISSUANCE CF STREET AND DRAINAGE BONDS FCR 451 AGAINST 208 FOR 422 AGAINST 237 ISSUANCE CF COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING BONDS FOR 411 AGAINST 250 ISSUANCE CF CITY HALL BONDS FOR 419 AGAINST 241 ISSUANCE CF LIBRARY BONDS FCR 422 AGAINST 238 - ISSUANCE CF POLICE STATION AND COURT BUILDING BONDS FOR 424 AGAINST 238 f1�L (Page Two - Minutes of Called Meeting, July 11, 1964, continued) ISSUANCE CF FIRE STATION BONDS FCR 481 AGAINST 180 ISSUANCE OF MUNICIPAL WAREHOUSE AND SERVICE BUILDING BONDS FCR 387 AGAINST 267 Councilman Fuller made the. motion that the resolution canvassing returns and declaring results of the election be passed and approved. Councilman Byers seconded the motion which carried unanimously. (Official copy of Resolution filed with Official Minutes of Office of City Secretary). Mayor Fuller expressed thanks to City Manager Cowell for his efforts in the Capital Improvement Program. PUBLIC HEARING DATE , _ . City Manager Cowell informed the council that he had been apprised of the fact that certain property near!the airport = had not been annexed to any city and it seemed possible it could be annexed by the City of Euless. After discussion, Councilman Douglass made the motion that the City Council call a Public Hearing for July 21st at 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall at which time the City Council would consider annexing the territory south of Highway 183 and east of the air- port, and notice be published as required by law. Councilman Owens seconded the motion which carried unanimously. AM In[ IDAIhACIAIT Councilman Fuller made the motion to ad- journ. Councilman Owens seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P. M.
