HomeMy WebLinkAbout17-03-CIAC RESOLUTION 17-03-CIAC A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE CITY OF EULESS CITY COUNCIL'S DETERMINATION THAT AN UPDATE TO THE CURRENT IMPACT FEES IS UNNECESSARY WHEREAS, the City of Euless updated and adopted water and wastewater impact fees by Ordinance No. 1992 in 2013; and WHEREAS, Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code provides a procedure to be used when a determination is made that no update of capital improvement plan, land use assumptions, or impact fees is needed; and WHEREAS, the City of Euless has concluded that the land use assumptions related to the service area and projections of land uses, densities, and population in the service area have not changed and the capital improvements plan for which impact fees may be assessed has not changed, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Euless, at its regular meeting of August 29, 2017, adopted Resolution No. 17-1512 making the determination that an update to the current water and wastewater impact fees is unnecessary; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS: SECTION1. That the City of Euless Capital Improvements Advisory Committee concurs with the City of Euless City Council determination that an update to the current water and wastewater impact fees is unnecessary. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2017. Richard McNeese, Chairman
