The called meeting of the Euless
City Council was called to order at 7:24 p.m., in the Council
Chambers of Euless City Hall, by Mayor Harold Samuels. Other
members present were Mayor Pro Tem Willie Mae McCormick,
Councilmen Robert Pippin, Glenn Walker, Charles Hunt, and
Ron Sternfels.
Also Present were City Manager
W. M. Sustaire and City Secretary Della Houy.

Visitors in attendance were Judy
Pippin, Jennifer Pippin, Maureen Sternfels, Renee Sternfels,
Ruth Hunt, Dorothy Wilkinson, and Howard Wilkinson.

CANVASS ELECTION RESULTS
Mayor Samuels stated the purpose of
this called meeting is to canvass the election results of the
municipal election held this date. There were twenty-five (25)
absentee ballots printed with eight (8) persons voting absentee.
Mayor Samuels recognized Howard
Wilkinson, Election Judge, who presented the election results.
Mr. Wilkinson stated there were 656
votes cast with the following tabulation of votes:

Willie Mae McCormick 575

Mr. Pippin moved to accept and
certify the election results as presented by the Election Judge,
Howard Wilkinson, electing Harold D. Samuels as Mayor, Bobby F.
Eden to Council Place Two, and Willie Mae McCormick to Council
Place Four.
Mr. Walker seconded the motion and
the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Pippin, Walker, Hunt, Sternfels, and
Mrs. McCormick
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion
carried.
Mayor Samuels expressed his
appreciation to Mr. Wilkinson and the election clerks for their
time in conducting the election.
ADJOURNMENT
meeting adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
