A called meeting of the Euless
City Council was called to order at 11:00 a.m., in the Con-
ference Room of Euless City Hall by Mayor Harold Samuels.
Other members present were Mayor Pro Tem Willie Mae McCormick,
Councilmen Robert Pippin, Glenn Walker, Ron Sternfels, and
Bob Eden.
Also present were City Manager
W. M. Sustaire, City Secretary Kay Rainey, and Secretary
Joyce Smith.

Mayor Samuels stated the purpose
of the called meeting is to conduct a preliminary review of
the proposed 1981-82 budget figures for the City of Euless.
The review was conducted and it
is noted that the City Council increased the City Manager's
projected 1981-82 revenue figures by $200,000.00.
Councilman Glenn Walker requested
that Kay Rainey obtain a copy of any available salary surveys
for area police departments and distribute to the Council by
June 13, 1981.
Mr. Sustaire requested approval
of the Council at the next regular meeting to proceed with
taking bids on construction of the new fire station.
Mr. Sustaire also requested approval
of the Council at the next regular meeting to take authorized
action in early 1982 when general revenue bonds mature, to
re-invest said bonds at the best available rate and term.
