The members of the Euless City Council held a worksession in the
Administration Building Conference Room of the Municipal Complex, 201
North Ector Drive in Euless on Saturday, October 23, 1993, at 8:30
a.m. to discuss the proposed plans for a library and to consider the
space needs of the municipal complex master plan.
Those attending included:

Assistant City Manager Joe Hennig

Director of Administrative Services/Economic Development Tom Cox
Police Chief Gary McKamie
Librarian Betty Yarbrough
Parks Planning and Development Manager Bo Bass
Parks Department Field Technician Rick Maldonado
Parks Planning and Development Manager Bo Bass reviewed the various
options Library Consultant Lee Brawner recently presented to the City
Council and expanded on the overall land use plan of the Municipal
Complex to give a variety of choices on how the buildings could be
located and utilized.
A discussion was held on the proposed size of the future library
facility and whether the current building should be remodeled and
expanded or where it would be located if a new building is built.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 Noon.
