DECEMBER 6, 1993
CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem
Bobby Baker at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 1993, in the downstairs
Administration Building Conference Room. Those present included Mayor Pro Tem
Bobby Baker, Council Members Frank Douglass and Henry Boatright and City
Secretary Susan Crim
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 93-834
Councilman Douglass moved to approve Resolution No. 93-834 canvassing returns and
declaring results of the December 4, 1993 Runoff Election as follows:
Place 5 Glenn D. Walker 667
Shirly Lowe 577
TOTAL VOTES CAST: 1 ,244
Councilman Boatright seconded the motion.
Ayes: Council Members Douglass and Boatright and Mayor Pro Tem Baker
Nays: None
Mayor Pro Tem Baker declared the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the City Council, the meeting was
adjourned at 5:40 p.m.

H.B. 75, passed by the 73rd Texas Legislature, amends Section 67.004 of the
Texas Election Code to provide that, . . . "Two members of the authority
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election."
