The members of the Euless City Council attended a meeting of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford
Independent School District Board of Directors on Tuesday, October 4, 1994, at 5:30 p.m.
for the purpose of giving a presentation of a proposed Tax Increment Reinvestment

Crim, and Assistant to the City Manager Modesto Mundo.
City Manager Tom Hart presented information regarding the proposed Tax Increment
Reinvestment program and answered questions from the School Board. The School
District expressed their concern regarding (1) state law regulation of school financing as it
v.. relates to this type of program, (2) the consequences of a downturn in the economy, and
(3) the impact of delinquent taxes on the program. Mr. Hart stressed the fact that the
School District would not be giving up any taxes they now have, because the property
being considered for this investment is undeveloped at this time.
City officials concluded their participation in the School Board meeting at 6:40 p.m.
