EULESS CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 1, 1995
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called Meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Mary Lib
Saleh at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 1995, in the Council Chambers. Those
present included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tem Bobby Baker and Council
Members Carl Tyson, Todd Smith, Charles Miller and Glenn Walker.
Staff Members Present
City Attorneys Bob McFarland, James Cribbs and Paul Wieneskie; City Manager Tom Hart,
Assistant City Manager Joe Hennig, City Planner Rod Tyler, City Secretary Susan Crim.
PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 158 ACRES
Mayor Saleh opened a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. to hear public input on the proposed
annexation of 158 acres south of S. Pipeline Road, currently in the City of Fort Worth.
City Attorney Bob McFarland explained the purpose of the public hearing and also stated
that a public service plan, previously adopted by the City Council, must be present for the
citizens to review. (Copies of the Service Plan were available for review.) The plan
provides for basic municipal services within 60 days and full services within 4 1/2 years.
Mayor Saleh asked if there were any proponents who wished to speak. There were no
proponents who wished to speak.
Mayor Saleh asked if there were any opponents who wished to speak. There were no
opponents who wished to address the Council.
Mayor Saleh closed the public hearing at 6:02 p.m.
CLOSED MEETING TO DISCUSS PERSONNEL MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY
SECTION 551.074 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE
Mayor Saleh recessed the meeting into closed session to discuss personnel matters.
The meeting was reconvened into regular session at 8:34 p.m.
