CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called Meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
at 2:05 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 1995, in the downstairs Administration Building
Conference Room. Those present included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tem Baker, City
Secretary Susan Crim and Director of Economic Development and Administrative Services Tom
Cox.
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 95-923
Mayor Pro Tern Baker moved to approved Resolution No. 95-923, canvassing the returns and
declaring the results of the Special Election held November 7, 1995, to fill the position of City
Council Member, Place Six, as follows:

Leon Hogg 759
TOTAL VOTERS: 1800
Mayor Saleh seconded the motion.
Ayes: Mayor Pro Tern Baker and Mayor Saleh
Nays: None
Mayor Saleh declared the motion carried.
(NOTE: H.B. 75, passed by the 73rd Texas Legislature, amends Section 67.004 of the Texas
Election Code to provide that, . . . "Two members of the authority constitute a quorum for
purposes of canvassing an election.")
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at 2:07 p.m.
