EULESS CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 5, 1996
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called Meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Mary Lib
Saleh at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 1996, in the downstairs Conference Room,
Administration Building. Those present included Mayor Mary Lib Saleh, Mayor Pro Tern
Bobby Baker and Council Members Carl Tyson, Charles Miller and Katie Edwards. Council
Members Todd Smith and Glenn Walker were absent.
Staff Members Present
City Manager Tom Hart and City Secretary Susan Crim.
CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION FOR BID ON PURCHASE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, FLIGHT
INSTRUMENT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
Mayor Pro Tern Baker moved to authorize the City Manager and/or City Attorney to bid at
tax foreclosure sale for the purchase of Lot 1, Block 1, Flight Instrument Addition, in the
`r- City of Fort Worth, an amount not to exceed the Tarrant County Appraisal District's
appraised value for the land, less $100,000, less the amount of outstanding ad valorem
taxes not reduced to judgment, and less the estimated cost for remediation of the property.
Council Member Miller seconded the motion.
Ayes: Council Members Tyson, Miller, Edwards and Mayor Pro Tem Baker and
Mayor Saleh
Nays: None
Mayor Saleh declared the motion carried.
ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 a.m.
