SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
EULESS CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 23, 1996
CALL TO ORDER
A special meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tern
Bobby Baker at 10:35 a.m.on Monday, December 23, 1996, in the Administration Building
Conference Room. Those present included Mayor Pro Tern Bobby Baker and Council
Members Carl Tyson, Leon Hogg, Charles Miller, and Katie Edwards. Mayor Mary Lib
Saleh arrived at 10:45 a.m. Council Member Glenn Walker was not present.
Staff Members Present
City Manager Tom Hart, Fire Chief Lee Koontz, Director of Support Services Tom Cox
and City Secretary Susan Crim.
Visitors Present

APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF 3.066 ACRES OF PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS
LOT 9, BLOCK C, INTERNATIONAL REGIONAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND
AUTHORIZATION OF CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAME
Mayor Pro Tern Bobby Baker moved to approve the purchase of 3.066 acres of property,
with improvements, located at 1315 Royal Parkway, being described as Lot 9, Block C,
International Regional Industrial Complex and to authorize the City Manager to negotiate
the acquisition of the property at a price not to exceed the amount of $535,000, with the
contract being subject to approval of the City Attorney.
Council Member Charlie Miller seconded the motion.
Ayes: Council Members Miller, Hogg, Tyson, Edwards, Mayor Pro Tern
Baker, and Mayor Saleh
Nays: None
Mayor Saleh declared the motion carried.

ADJOURN
There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Saleh adjourned the meeting
at 11:15 a.m.
