Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the Hurst-Euless-
Bedford Economic Development Foundation (HEBEDF) along with representatives from
the City of Hurst, City of Bedford, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District
(HEBISD) and the HEB Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, April 9, 1997, at 6:30
p.m. at the Forrest E. Watson Center, 1100 Raider Drive in Euless.
Representatives from the City of Euless included:
Mayor Mary Lib Saleh
Mayor Pro Tern Bobby Baker
Council Member Carl Tyson
Council Member Leon Hogg
r., Council Member Charlie Miller
Council Member Katie Edwards
City Manager Tom Hart
Assistant City Manager Joe Hennig
City Secretary Susan Crim
The economic development directors of each of the three cities: John Pitstick, City of
Hurst; Bill Ridgway, City of Bedford; and Torn Cox, City of Euless, gave brief overviews
of the activity in their city during the past year.
Texas State Representative Todd Smith was the keynote speaker.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
